Many residents and visitors participated virtually or in-person to learn more about our local farms, electric vehicles, fun things to do and generally how to be a good green citizen! The North East/Millerton Climate Smart Community partnered with nonprofits, businesses and farmers to offer you interesting and informative programs for families that celebrated the richness of our environment.
You are invited to help plant 100 Trees for Millerton. The Village is revitalizing Eddie Collins Memorial Park and plans to plant more 100 donated trees to help clean the air we breathe, cool the Park in summer, provide a habitat for birds, insects, and wildlife, and absorb groundwater. To buy one tree, plant it, and maintain it for its first year costs $600. You can donate online here. Any contribution helps make Millerton greener.
